Well, it has been a fair bit since I have posted anything… but I am excited to have taken the entire thanksgiving week off from work. Saturday was a very typically beautiful fall day here in the San Francisco bay area. We spent nearly the entire day outside both around the house and down the street on the hillside along the canal trail. We enjoyed the low 70’s sunshine, the crazy colored leaves on the trees, collecting rocks and using sticks to write our names in the dirt… (Well Brandon just scratched the dirt – he is only 15 months).
In the late afternoon, I wanted to test out my new “Vans”, and couldn’t think of any better way then on my skateboard. Since Brandon has the same sneakers, he wanted to come along for the ride… and I mean literally! Mom thought it was pretty cool, so of course she took out he camera and both filmed and shot some pics!
Brandon loved it – which as you can imagine, will mean that he can expect a hip new helmet for Christmas! A little iMovie… and presto – you can all share in the start to our vacation at home! Nothing quite like an aging surfer and his up and coming daredevil! We followed this up with the most appropriate dinner dad could think of after a day burning energy outside… What else…. – a Hawaiian pizza!
