I am one of your first million supporters. I own and proudly wear a T-shirt that your campaign sent me in honor of this. After watching (taped delayed) your speech in Mill Valley CA well before you captured the nomination, I was struck by your words and developed a belief in your leadership.
Recently, a pal sent me this video put together by the impressive folks at SkateHouse Media. It is such an awesome display of old-school downhill skating drenched with style, speed and a heck of a lot of really cool tricks! Add to this a super fun and lively musical arrangement… and I just had to share!
Years ago, I began to take an interest in gardening. I lived in an apartment, but was determined to use my limited space to create a bit of a garden paradise, even if only in pots. I was inspired by my travels to the tropics, and wanted to try my hand at growing some of the beautiful plants I had seen while surfing in the islands and mainland Mexico. My neighbor at the time, Jennifer – was an older Asian woman who seemed to be able to grow nearly anything, with fantastic results.
Recently I updated my home machine from an older pre-Intel 20″ iMac to a nice new smoking fast 24″, 2.8 GHz Core 2 Duo version of the same machine. Both computers are still sitting side by side on my desk since I continue to make transfers between them. For use in my home office, I have long been a fan of the iMac’s as they are less expensive but capable tools, and take up very little room while providing a great large workspace.
I have long held the belief, that the most beautiful things in life – Are beautiful with, or without us. So it is up to all of us to see the things that are so easy to overlook or simply take for granted. If we choose “to see” then this is also our fortune.
I don’t really have much to say in this flagship post – yet I had to put something up in place of the default “Hello World” that has been staring at me while creating this blog. I have still yet to resolve the many bugs that I am finding either in my new site as a whole, or within this customized WP Theme. (First time I have ever messed with a WP Theme by the way)
So I guess I will keep it at a minimum and just be glad that progress is occuring – if only in the fact that Hello world is the only thing I have to say.
